Tetyana Yakovleva
Tetyana Yakovleva is a lecturer in Ukrainian language and literature at the University of Turin. She is also a Yiddish lecturer at Yiddishland California in San Diego and a literature lecturer at YIVO Institute for Jewish Research in New York. Tetyana studied Comparative Literature, Classical, Slavic, Jewish, and Media Studies at the universities of Kharkiv, Regensburg, Bari, and San Diego and received her PhD in Slavic and Jewish Studies from the University of Regensburg in 2019. Tetyana published her book about Odesa 1905 in Jewish Literature in 2023 and develops now a new project about Kharkiv as a center of Ukrainian and Yiddish Modernism in 1920-30s.
