Alessandro Achilli is Senior Assistant Professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Cagliari. His research interests include modern and contemporary literatures, with a focus on Ukrainian poetry and cultural history. He's the author of a monograph on Vasyl' Stus and several articles on chapters on various aspects of Ukrainian literature and culture, as well as Belarusian literature, Polish literature, Russophone literatures, and comparative literature. He's also active as a literary translator.
