Francesca Lazzarin is an Associate Professor of Slavic Studies at the University of Bari. From 2022 to 2026, she was a research fellow at the University of Udine, focusing on contemporary women’s theatre in Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Russia, and the role of hip-hop music in contemporary Ukrainian and Russian culture and society. She translates from Russian, Ukrainian and Czech.
