Chiara Marchesi is a teaching fellow (cultrice della materia) in Russian language at the University of Bergamo. In 2022, she graduated with a degree in Modern Languages for Communication and International Cooperation from the University of Bergamo. In March 2026, she obtained her PhD in Linguistic Sciences from the Universities of Bergamo and Pavia, defending a dissertation on the role of vagueness as a communicative strategy in Russian and Ukrainian intellectual property legislation.
Her research interests focus on languages for special purposes, with particular attention to Russian and Ukrainian, as well as on the semantics and pragmatics of these two languages.
